Become a Member of Sassafras Audubon Society!
Support Sassafras Audubon’s local educational programs, outings, and conservation projects, like the Saw-Whet Owl banding stations, by becoming a Friend of the Sassafras Audubon Society. For only $20 a year you’ll become a member of Sassafras Audubon, and all of your dues will stay with SAS to fund our local efforts. You’ll stay informed with our bimonthly newsletter, The Leaflet, and as an additional benefit, you’ll receive a 10% discount on selected items at the Bloomington Wild Birds Unlimited and Bloomington Hardware.
You can also support national conservation efforts by joining the National Audubon Society. NAS members receive the award-winning Audubon magazine, and get automatic chapter membership in SAS. However, since NAS dues primarily support national projects, we invite NAS members to also become Friends of SAS. As a Friend, you’ll have the satisfaction of supporting your local chapter and its local projects as well! First-time National members can support us further by joining National through us.

Requirements of Membership
None! Attendance at meetings is not required, and your membership does not obligate you to take part in activities. But take a look at the SAS calendar, and you’ll surely find an event you’d like to attend!
