Monthly Outing - Beanblossom Bottoms

Saturday, September 21th, we will have another installment for this year of our series of monthly bird outings aimed at being casual walks open to birders of all skill levels (beginners to advanced). During the year we will visit many of the best birding areas in Monroe County. Hosted by a Friend of SAS, all are welcome.

Walks will be held the 3rd Saturday of each month beginning at 8:30am. On Saturday, September 21st, we will visit the newly renovated Sycamore Landtrust property of Bean-blossom Bottoms and the walk will be hosted by Tommy Grav. We will meet in the parking lot of Richland Plaza in Ellettsville, on SR46 west side of Bloomington at 8:30am and car pool due to limited parking at the Bean-blossom property. We expect to leave at 8:35am and arrive at the property at 8:45am. If you need directions or have any questions please contact us at sas@sassafrasaudubon.org. If you need help getting from Bloomington to meet in Ellettsville, let us know at the above address as we might be able to provide some transportation from downtown.
