Learn how you can make a difference for our native wildlife starting in your own backyard. Our presenter will focus primarily on home gardens and what people can do to understand and manage invasive species, create native habitats, and best provide for wildlife that can thrive in smaller residential areas. He will also share steps needed to obtain wildlife habitat certification through the Indiana Wildlife Federation. The presentation will last about 45 minutes, followed by time for questions and discussion. The presentation will incorporate ideas from Doug Tallamyβs concept of Homegrown National Park. We will provide a selection of native plants to those in attendance while supplies last! Contact Eve Cusack with questions: eveloftmancusack@gmail.com
