Ducks and Donuts

Twice a year, SAS members and friends gather on the observation platform at Stillwater Marsh to welcome the arrival of the many varieties of waterfowl that migrate through our region. In the early Spring, some are headed as far north as the Arctic. Come Autumn, some are headed as far south as Brazil. No matter their destination, we always offer them a warm welcome.

No worries concerning what to bring: we provide plenty of donuts and coffee, binoculars to lend, and scopes to spot the waterfowl. So, stop by for this free and fun event and share your best duck i.d. tips or learn new ones. And enjoy the camaraderie, snacks, and lovely scenery. Welcome to birders of all ages and levels of experience!
