Date to be announced!
Join us for an upcoming hike led by Edward Oehlman, the Southern Indiana BirdScape Coordinator, who will guide us through a thoughtful look at forest management and what healthy, intentional stewardship means for birds—especially species of concern like the cerulean warbler. This isn’t a formal birding outing, but with Edward’s deep experience as both a land manager and an avid birder, we’ll certainly pause along the way to notice who’s singing overhead. Date and location are still TBD, but expect an engaging walk that blends ecology, conservation practice, and the joy of encountering birds in well-managed forests.
