On Saturday July 20, 2019, Sassafras Audubon will sponsor the annual Goose Pond butterfly count. Besides Goose Pond and Beehunter Marsh, the count circle contains Greene Sullivan State Forest, the Dugger Unit of GSSF, much of Hillenbrand FWA, and the Linton Conservation Club. This means there is plenty of good habitat for folks to get out and explore.
